lists of... (Sounds like recursion to me...)

Its something that would be nice to be able to do, but its not necessarily
something that won't have its own drawbacks. We can't expect everything out
of one little list package, so maybe we take a cut at what is possible and
think about alternate designs as possible additions. Maybe thats an
indication of a need for alternate list packages - or possibly other data
structures like trees?
