A point of order: The ACL would actually replace the "Containers" part.
"Containers" was my placeholder root name.

As for the name itself, ACL is one of the better ones I've seen from the acronym
approach. I'd still like something with a bit of pizzaz. Java has "Beans", which
I don't believe stands for anything.

Hmmm. How about "Grace"? It could be considered a homage to Adm. Grace Hopper.
Alternatively, it could stand for something like "General Reusable Ada Container
Environment". :-)
