I think you have made my point for me. It's pretty clear that you
thought you could do better than Claw (and still do).

I would argue that most of the differences between Claw and GWindows are
just that: differences, not advantages. I thought that when I first read
your overviews of GWindows (a long time ago...), and I still think that.
Clearly, you don't know how to use Claw as well as I do (who does?). But
I don't think a line-by-line rebuttal serves much a purpose here; it
makes more sense to spend the time on something productive.

I haven't thought seriously about that recently. The Introductory
version had a fairly similar license to the GPL anyway (less restrictive
for non-commercial use, in fact), so that wasn't a large leap. The full
Claw is a larger leap. Certainly, the next version of the Introductory
version will include more stuff (suggestions of items to include are
welcome), which will have the effect of bringing more of Claw under the
GMGPL.

Let's talk about this some more off-line, OK?

I've been doing that for two years. So far, the only thing that seems to
