Problems compiling Gnade 1.52 and 1.53

I have been trying to figure out an issue with building gnade I
started using version 1.5.2 and then 1.5.3 which was just released.

I can do ./configure and a make. It all builds well.  My problem is in
make documentation.  I have tried to build on Fedora Core 2 using gcc
.3.3.3 and the gnat that comes with Fedora.  I know it has some issues
but the builds errors are identical to what I get using gentoo with
gnat 3.15p.  

I have docbook 4.2 and openjade 1.3.2 installed on my Gentoo box.
I have searched high and low on Google and cannot find refrence to the
files that openjade claims to be missing.
