Hi all!
Simple_Com 0.9 has been released. It includes Lower_Layer 0.9,
which is available separately. Both are free software, distributed
under LGPL, and run on GNU/Linux-i386 (should work also on
Solaris-SPARC and NetBSD-i386).
Simple_Com is a toolbox for building complex multicast
protocols, and is still very unstable. It is completely written in
Ada95 using Gnat.
Lower_Layer is a uniform interface to transport layer
communication, which currently supports UDP (both unicast and
multicast) and TCP (with a datagram-oriented interface). Lower_Layer
is much more stable and usable, and can be a simple choice for people
wanting to use communications from Ada95 programs. It is in addition
very easy to port, specially if the target system has a BSD sockets
interface available. It is completely written in Ada95 using Gnat.
More information on Simple_Com and Lower_Layer, and download
of the software (source code and GNU/Linux-i386 binaries):

Have a good time,
Jesus.
