Hello Ada lovers !
I’ve the pleasure to announce a ground-up update of AdaForge.org
https://www.adaforge.org
The purpose of this site is to bring to the Ada developer a catalog of
(almost) all Ada open source code and tools existing in different
public repositories.
==> This catalog is structured according to a software developer
perspective (taxonomy).
Note : AdaForge.org references 100% of the ALIRE ‘crates’ packaging repo. :-)
I’m exited to hear some feedback from you,
Kind regards,
William

Good effort. Thanks. But maybe a general search box would add utility.

Everything's huge! The main "logo" take up half my 4k screen!
The energy rating thing is taller than my browser window, is it even
required?

Hi William,
That's impressive.
Is the website automatically generated from the Alire manifests?

I find it difficult to understand what is the purpose/goal of the website.
It seems to be a map of Ada/SPARK projects available in Alire.
But the name "forge" makes me think of "sourceforge", i.e. hosting repositories.
Probably a matter of taste, but I also don't find the design very readable.
Cheers,

Yes, the project info from the TOML files,
But the final ‘catorization’ is made by drag/drop with the mind mapping
app.
All the rest is automated by import/export via the different editing apps.

To present to a (rather new) Adadeveloper what’s available (ecosystem)

Maybe better hosting it on the Ada.dev umbrella ?
Who is the owner of Ada.dev ? Whois mentioned AdaCore

I have no idea how I would find anything I would look for with this. Where would
I look to find something like https://github.com/jrcarter/PragmARC?
https://github.com/jrcarter/Ada_GUI? These are not frameworks, services,
engines, ... There doesn't seem to be any place for them under libs, which I
presume is short for libraries, which is where I would look for them.
