If you want ideas, how about a contest for most useful new Ada library? 
I suppose additions to existing libraries could also be allowed. You 
could require that all entries be released under free licenses, and rate 
them in areas like code clarity, documentation and how needed they were.

Just a thought that crossed my mind.
