I solved the problem by altering build.cmd w/ the following lines (just 
before the line starting "echo LIBZ_Path"):

> ECHO S_GCR_Lib := ""; >> aws_lib_shared.gpr

Now we have a nice long list of compiling files [which is good] that 
stops with
