GLADE 1.0 Public Release is now available
GLADE, the Distributed Systems Annex implementation for GNAT is an
environment for developing distributed applications based on Annex E
of the Ada 95 Reference Manual. This environment comprises a complete
Partition Communication System (PCS) which can support several
protocols on a network of heterogeneous machines, a simple partition
description language and utilities to build and start distributed
applications.
This release supports the TCP/IP protocol and has been ported and
tested on:
- Sparc/Solaris (2.3 and above)
- PC/Linux.
- Sparc/SunOS (4.1.3)
Ports to most other majors plateforms (including SGI/Irix, Digital
Unix, HP/HP-UX, Windows NT) are expected to appear in the future
according to commercial interest. Please contact us for more details.
GLADE can be downloaded by anonymous ftp from cs.nyu.edu (cd
pub/gnat/glade) and the usual GNAT mirror sites around the world.
Commercial Support for GLADE is available from ACT Europe and Ada Core
Technologies. Since GLADE is a separate product, regular GNAT support
doesn't cover the use of GLADE. Different support licences are
available according to the configuration of your distributed
application and the size of your development team. Contact us for
details.
