Why is that relevant to the OP's question about implementation
differences between compilers and platforms?
Are you suggesting that the standard for TCP/IP be reimplemented using
ASN.1 on a variety of platforms?
I still don't see how your statement above (and in previous messages)
addresses the OP's question.
