I don't think it is possible to remove newgroup messages with any 
reliability. The message still appears in my newsreader and I originally 
downloaded it about 12 hours after it was sent. Like most of the Internet, 
things on it tend to live forever. (Removing messages is so desired and so 
impossible that Google used it as the basis of an April Fool's feature some 
years ago.)
