Cross compiler GCC-3.2.3 & gnat-5.0

Hi,

I'm trying to cross compile a basic MIPS-GNAT compiler. Here is what I've
done:

tar -xjpf /usr/portage/distfiles/gcc-3.2.3.tar.bz2
cd gcc-3.2.3/gcc/
tar -xjpf /usr/portage/distfiles/gnat-5.0_pre20030822.tar.bz2
mv gnat-5.0_pre20030822 ada
cd ..
patch -p0 < gcc/ada/gcc-32.dif

Basically, I've got a bit further, but still the compilation stops with
the folowing:

Does anyone know what this is going on about? It should be using ELF not
ECOFF :-(

This is due to the makefile thinking that the config directory is in the
gcc/ada directory. I made a link from gcc/ada/config to gcc/config and the
compiler finished building.

Now, my problem is that I need to build gnatlib/gnattools which I cannot
do for some reason.

I'm lost at this point, can somebody please ;-) help?

Opps, forgot, if I try to compile something with mips-elf-gcc, I get an
error:

mips-elf-gcc -nostdinc -nostdlib -nostartfiles -c empty.adb
fatal error, run-time library not installed correctly
cannot locate file system.ads
compilation abandoned

empty.adb:

Oh, just in case you were wondering, I'm building for native hardware, so
no runtime.
