When Dmitry says something about generics,
he has been implying their use for emulating
static polymorphism and as a replacement for
generic types. A narrow perspective on generics
and pushing them to limits that require substantial
amounts of training in order to still follow.
Just Ada generics failing would have put
AdaCore out of business in no time, and other
vendors, too. Given that this is not the case,
you might see the remark in a different light.
