Right. And who thinks that may change if something like that gets into
the language standard? I don't.

Sorry to say that, but with Ada you're really lucky if you find "tens of
thousands" of apps at all, GUI or not.
Well, probably there even /are/ tens of thousands of apps in Ada, we
just don't put our stuff on Sourceforge, and so don't others. ;)
