Oh, I'm on foot; the force is some large number of poundals, I imagine,
as I tend to plod. I thought slugs, like scruples, measured mass.
My claim above is based on rotational velocity; I completely ignored the
larger component of velocity tangent to the Earth's orbit. Perhaps I am
dizzy. :-)
