Exactly my point: if you want anyone to replace those (generally used 
because they're easy, cheap, and "good enough"), you have to provide 
something much better. (As the iPhone did to the smartphone market, for 
example). Making yet another copy of Unix isn't going to provide much 
interest (or value).
