That suggests containers more closed than DB. This is a wrong assumption.
The difference is that DB interface is lower level compared to a
container library, which makes the later more difficult to use in the
environment where everything is communicated through files. It is
self-replicating lowest common denominator design which poisons everything.

SQL is a language, so they are programmers. But in my world no customer
writes SQL queries. It is just to many DBs, too many tables and too much
data for a customer to learn an handle. All types of reports are done
from the GUI with corresponding parameters given from the GUI.
