Let us consider the following program fragment:
...
select
delay 5.0;
Put_Line ("Timeout expired");
then abort
-- ask for password within the given timeout
Put("Enter Password:");
Get_Line(This_Password,Last);
end select;
If the timeout expires, maybe when Get_line was reading the data,
can the underlying "file-object" become abnormal because some assignment
to it has been disrupted (as for 9.8.(21)) ?
Notice that a very similar example is given in Reference Manual
(in 9.7(11)) and it would be unfortunate il the RM examples sugggested
potentially erroneous programming styles.
