Hardly. GPL has been shown to limit the business model to either dual
licensing--which is ugly, of doubtful legality, and unpractical with
respect to contributions from the outside--, or selling support--which
has nothing to do with authorship credit. This is why I suggested
www.softdevelcoop.org before. See the paper "Open Source Business Found
Parasitic" there.
