Sounds like you are doing a "Compile All" on a large
project, because I get the same thing only on our
large projects.

It doesn't really seem to hurt anything because the
compiler recovers.  Sometimes it doesn't always get
all the units, but the "Build" will usually pick up
the missing ones.  Sometimes, the build will fail
because of a missing "obj" or "ila" file.  Compiling
the related "ada" files resolves the problem.  So, it
can be a little bit of a nuisance, but usually not a
real problem.

One other way to prevent the problem is to break your
project up into two, or more, smaller projects.
