Using Janus/Ada with WINE works. I semi-regularly test my Ahven
library with Janus/Ada and WINE on Fedora Linux 20.

Mingw is not required, but Microsoft Windows SDK is (the one which
contains the linker and some libraries).

I am currently using Janus/Ada on 32-bit Windows XP, 64-bit Windows 7,
and 64-bit Windows 8.1. (WINE is set to use 32-bit mode.)
