Download these from:

http://www.grebyn.com/gcc/i686-2.6.11-1.27_FC3smp-gcc-3.4-20050922.tar.gz

and

http://www.grebyn.com/gcc/i686-2.6.11-1.27_FC3smp-gcc-3.4.4.tar.gz

File sizes are:

39647921 Sep 23 17:48 i686-2.6.11-1.27_FC3smp-gcc-3.4-20050922.tar.gz
39560104 Sep 23 17:49 i686-2.6.11-1.27_FC3smp-gcc-3.4.4.tar.gz

They were self-compiled from sources on a RedHat Fedora Core system
with the above signatures.

NOTE: These binaries are configured with, and you must install them in
the location described (/tmp/i686...) or at least install a link at
that location. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to make binary
distributions that can be configured....

This is excellent. While we were busy talking, this guy has been busy
compiling.

So, no more bitching at the GPL please. Let's just go write Ada
software.

I have been busy writing Ada software! ;-) If anyone feels that I have
ignored them please let me know! I have several messages sitting in my
Drafts folder that I will probably never get to now! :-)

Cheers,

David

Hi Karl, I'm just curious to know the background behind these builds.
You've built 3 versions of GCC on 2 platforms, which is very nice but
what need does that address? Do you intend to use these builds to
compare the versions of GCC? Or to use them in production for your
own needs?

Do you have longer term plans about these, like building a complete
distribution with ASIS, GLADE, Florist and other libraries?

Are you aware of the complete Ada distribution for Red Hat at [1]?

[1] http://www.prz.rzeszow.pl/ada/en/GNAT-3.15p_rpms_EN.html

This distribution seems not to be maintained anymore, and I have not
seen any success or horror stories regarding it.
