It IS an exceptional condition!
An exceptional condition is a condition that makes it impossible or
unnecessary to continue with the normal algorithm, and requires suddenly
a different behaviour. Finding the solution is precisely that.
(although it is not an error or an abnormal condition, which is
precisely the point I made).
