Well -- you are creating, at the OS level, 500 processes each with an
associated stack (how large a stack is each receiving (I believe the common
GNAT runtime delegates task management to the underlying OS -- unless one
is running a custom runtime on bare-boards)? How much free memory did your
OS have to give to those stacks).
What does "top" show? (#tasks, Memory Free, Swap Used, and top CPU
hogs)
