If you know what your doing you can use Linux, or Apple OS/X (unsure
about Windows) version of GNAT and create a nice OS (32 or 64 bit).

Even a small Linux Kernel, written in Ada is possible. Of course, the
full Linux 3.x kernel might take some time.

With DJGPP GCC 4.6x, it might work.
