For anyone interested, in this pilots' forum that discusses the loss of Air
France Flight 447, some (unrelated) comments about Ada have been made,

It's a fascinating thread in general, going on for years now, and certainly
very long and with a varying amount of noise from time to time, although the
discussion of software development processes has been on the scarce side.
BTW -- I suspect the thread is right now under proactive moderation.
