I'm in need of an NORMINV function for using in a mainframe system.
The Computer language is COBOL, but other language may also be of interest.

I'm primary interested in algoritmes that uses basic function as
If Then Else; Repeat Until, *, /, +, - and so on. Not use statistic
functions!

If you wonder what a NORMINV function is, you may look at the link:
http://www.phys.ufl.edu/docs/matlab/toolbox/stats/norminv.html

It's probably not possible to make an accurate calculation, but if I'll get
an calculation that is as good as the one in Microsoft Excel, I'll be
satisfied.

Im also interested in calculations based on table views.

I'm able to pay you for a solution that satisfy my request.

Please mail me at hogne.neteland@edb.com .

Please remark: follow up to comp.lang.cobol !
