AFAIK (and I cross-posted to comp.lang.ada to make sure someone would
correct me), the answer is "almost one."  This implementation is the
GNAT (GNu Ada Translator) compiler which supports most, but not quite
all of the Ada95 language.

But the price is right!  (Especially for an Ada compiler!)

Tartan v5.1 (which should be shipping to all customers by now) is their first
release to include Ada 95 features. Tartan's product line will eventually
support all of Ada 95.

I've heard that while Ada is not widely used in the commercial sector of the
U.S., it is quite popular in Europe.  Can anyone verify this?

Take a look at the Ada WWW Server at http://lglwww.epfl.ch:80/Ada.    
There's quite a number of resources available their to support the use of   
Ada in commercial software development.  Additionally, you should check   
the information available from the Ada Information Clearinghouse (AIC).

Sorry if this is a FAQ for comp.lang.ada (my site doesn't get it,
I'm coming from comp.object), but:

What is the general stance on GC in Ada?  I read the Ada '95 spec,
and was somewhat pleased that it's at least an option, but but an
optional feature that nobody implements hardly counts!  I think I
remember reading that Gnat doesn't support it (although there always
is the Boehm collector)...  How about some of the other compilers?
Is GC generally viewed as a Good Thing in the Ada community, or not?
(Please -- I'm not trying to start a GC flame war...  I'm just
curious what the *general* perception within the Ada community is).
