You have not read any announcements for this compiler, at least not
from us. All you have read is an announcement that there is an active
project to produce a version of GNAT targetted to the JVM. We have not
announced any release date for this product yet (we do not make
preannouncements of release dates for public releases of GNAT
technology).

We currently expect to make a beta release of the commercial version of
this technology (i.e. the version with full support from Ada COre
Technologies) sometime later this calendar year. We will make a more
definite announcement when validation and release schedules are
precisely known.

With excitement, I heard that there was plans to release
under GPL a Ada95 compiler targeting JVM.
I have read a lot of "annoucements" for this compiler, but
so far I haven't found a single byte to download.
So;

1) Is the compiler (even a beta-version) released, or is
   this vapourware?

2) If (1)="yes" then where?

Yours,
	R.

PS: I already know that Intermetrics has AppletMagic.
