Registration numbers for Tri-Ada '97 are running stronger than in the
past several years. No doubt there are several reasons for all the
interest associated with the premiere Ada conference of the year. Not
least of which is the very exciting program put together by Norman
Cohen. Increasingly, Ada is being used as an educational platform in
higher education. Ada 95 compilers and tools continue to mature.
Today's Ada developer has a wide range of choices that are as versatile
and powerful as anything on the market. Ada development is no longer
limited to high dollar projects, rather Ada is poised for widespread
use. Changes in DOD policy generate much discussion but have not
changed the essential fact about Ada: The Right Choice for Reliable
Software.

Tri-Ada '97 features many of developers of the language as well as the
industrial clients who use Ada. Special sessions by Robert Dewar and
Tucker Taft highlight the technical program. Come meet the people you
see making the definitive posts to this newsgroup. Ada Education Leader
Mike Feldman will also be on hand. On the government side, Lt.General
Emmett Paige, Jr., will be keynoting the conference. No one has done
more to promote Ada inside the DOD. Hear first hand why he ended the
Mandate and why Ada is still thriving.

Program details and registration information may be found at:

Perhaps everyone is coming to see "Princess Ada, or the Castle AdaMandate",
another Ada Core Technologies musical extravaganza starring Princess Ada
herself, and her band of women determined to learn the mysteries of Ada
and the true programming faith, defending themselves against the knights
of the order of C++, who attempt to storm their castle.

:-)

Seriously, we are looking forward to seeing you all there, and can promise
you another entertaining evening of the new genre of "Ada musical entertainment:

Robert Dewar
Ada Core Technologies
