Dave asks

"Hi. Does anyone know if any of the Ada95 compilers currently
available or under development support generation of generic
object code which can be shared by multiple instances?"

The RR compiler does complete generic sharing.

I would guess that the Rational compiler would also do generic sharing
at least to some extent.

Note: there is nothing in the GNAT design that mitigates against shared
generics particularly, so it is one of many possible improvements (i.e.
providing the option) that is on the list of things to do in the future,
but so far does not have very hjigh priority.
