Has anyone successfully installed GNAT on a Linux machine. I'm
having problems and would appreciate any help that can be offered.

Well of course LOTS of people have successfully installed GNAt on
Linux machines. In our experience failures in installation are,
99% of the time, the result of not following the instructions
PRECISELY 100% WITH NO DEVIATIONS AT ALL.
