I'm looking for a program that generates dependencies suitable for use
with make files. I have found one called Adamakegen, but have found it
unsuitable since in is written in Icon for which an interpreter is not
available for my machine. Any help is very much apreciated.

You have to remember that in Ada, if you want to take generics and
inlining into account, it takes a very complicated program, really
with the smarts of a full Ada compiler, to generate an accurate make
file.
GNAT can certainly be used for this purpose. Look at the ali files, the
lines with D in column 1 are source dependencies, and a trivial edit
script can convert the ali file contents into make file statements.
