First I tried Amazon, the thing never showed up.

Then I ordered it right off the Praxis website. Apparently this comes from CPI Book Delivery. I just got the package and wouldn't you know it...they sent me "Israel as a Jewish and Democratic State" by the Jewish Law Association.

Seriously?! Maybe their ordering system could use a bit of Spark programming.

Anyways...Is it even possible to get a copy of this book?

Heh. Just needed to gripe.

It can be done - I ordered a copy from these people on December 4th, and
it arrived between Xmas and new year. However:

- the email in response to placing the order said that another email
would be sent when the book was despatched, but I never received this.

- the money was taken as soon as the order was placed, which is a dodgy
business practice.

The hardback doesn't seem to be available now - searching on the CPI
website only finds the paperback (I got my copy by turning up at the
SPARK user group meeting in October).

Cheers,

Phil

Pearson Ed bookshop (the publisher) says:
"Not available for sale to USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Japan"

The bookshops have reacted accordingly, prices are up reaching USD 229.96.

IIRC, the publisher's corporation underwent some kind of restructuring
recently. Don't know if this has to do with it.

I think the "blue" SPARK book is out of print. The new, updated version is available here:
