5. Abstract:
GNAT - GNU NYU Ada9X Translator
GNAT is an Ada 9X translator that is integrated into the GNU software
toolset. The GNU C compiler (gcc) provides the front-end to GNAT,
so Ada 9X source code can be compiled as well as C source code.
To better support the MSDOS users of GNAT, the GNU DJGPP library has
been included under the ports tree. A number of support programs and
systems has been included with the library.
See the file README at the top of the gnat tree on the PAL for info
on the files associated with the current release.
