PAL size and growth information

The Public Ada Library reached initial operational capability on June 21,
1993.  Since then, it has grown to approximately 80M bytes in size.  The
Ada Software Repository (ASR) is a subtree of the PAL.  Only 85M bytes of
the 104M-byte ASR has been copied over to the PAL to date; this situation
should be corrected soon, bringing the total size of the PAL with its ASR
subtree to 184M bytes.

During June, over 6,600 files (over 1.17 BILLION BYTES - yes, BILLION, not
MILLION) were transferred out of the PAL to its users.  WUARCHIVE, the host
of the PAL, transferred over 1.7 million files (over 236 BILLION bytes)
to users on almost 47,000 host computers on the Internet.

Many thanks to those who have contributed to the ASR and the PAL and to the
users, for whom all of this is being done.  It is most gratifying.
