I heard of a operating system being developed in Java (don't all laugh at
once , have you ever really needed that amd64 workstation).

I was one of the interested people who did nothing towards this project, but
was interested in doing something and the project well seems to have gone
the way of it'll be nijce to have ware. Perhaps it was too ambitious, etc or
didn't really have a use.

Would we be not able to use that java operating system with Jgnat and code
ada into it - I realise there are real time issues. But would not such a
system be really good for development. And if the ada code is fully
objectified (or as close to damn it), would this not be a more acheivable
goal?

What did we all want an ada os system for?
your thoughts please
