	Off hand, I'm fairly certain a simple USB to GPIO adapter won't do. Too
many timing idiosyncrasies for those protocols. The adapter would have to
have SPI or I2C (?) protocol logic at the far end, and the USB would be
transferring already processed protocol transfers.
