I believe around Jan or Feb of 1995.

And it did not just become official for the DoD, it became official for the
world.  Ada is an ISO standard, and in fact is the only internationally
standardized object-oriented language.

I posted this question a couple days ago from a different
account, but since I haven't received any responses, and
since I don't see it on the newsgroup from THIS account, I'm
assuming it got lost somewhere.

On what date did Ada 95 become the "official" Ada for the DoD?

ISO issued the Ada 95 Standard on 15 February 1995. At that time, the
previous ISO standard (from 1987) and ANSI standard (from 1983) became
obsolete.

Effectively, "Ada" was officially Ada 95.
