"C makes you feel like an [elite] [hacker]".
Utilizing the terse, cryptic programming style that C lends itself to
can cause one to assert a claim of being a highly capable programmer.
The author's formulation and use of "leetspeak" (https://
secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Leet) in the sentence is
intended to be ironic.
