This is somethong that the Byron project aims to rectify by being an Ada 2012 compiler written in Ada 2012.

I'm npt sure, but I recall one of the other comertial compilers had full Ada 2005 -- I think it was Irvine or GreenHills.

Agreed, which is one reason that I'm working on Byron, and why I would recomend that an Ada library-reposotory be written in Ada 2012. (If we were really enterprising, we would make it so that the networking libs were abstracted enough they could be replaced by SPARK networking libs and then added to the library itself.)
