There is the .NET compact framwork and you can program it in C#. I've also
installed SQL Server CE edition and have replicated a SQL Server database to
my Pocket PC. I use then my C# application to work offline on the data and
reconcile the data later with SQL Server replication technology. C# is very
reasonable for this task, but I agree it would be nice to have an Ada.Net
;-)
