It is normally patched to call gcc-4.4, yes.  I'll look into it.  If
there is a place where it calls gnatgcc instead (which is part of
package gnat), I'll fix it.  Thanks for reporting.

Yes, when I get around to it.  That will involve updates to newer
versions and soname bumps.
