I have been unable to access www.adaic.org for the last 24 hours. The last
time I tried was several months ago, so I don't know how much longer than
the last 24 hours it may have been down for.

Does anybody know what is going on ?

Simon.

I would suspect a network problem. I was on it last night and just now
and it seemed
to work.

What is the error message you are getting??

Note that www.adaic.com is the same site (although that will change at
the end of the month).

I'm in the UK and my ISP is Demon. There was no error message from your site,
but the standard message was from the browser (IE5) reporting that it couldn't
establish a connection.

After the report here that it was working, I took it up with Demon and I
discovered that accessing your site directly, instead of going through the
Demon proxy server, worked. This is the first time that going via a proxy
server has caused me problems so I didn't think to check this first.

However, I did try to ping your site prior to posting here, but got no
response. Are you filtering ICMP packets ? Is anyone else in the UK having
problems going via the Demon proxy server to www.adaic.org ?

Thanks for any responses,

Simon.
