Subject: Is DISA's X.400/500 OSI-based DMS in Ada or C/C++?

DISA will be releasing the draft RFP's for its massive AUTODIN
upgrade, the Defense Message System, which will be a million+ user
system for secure messaging within the DoD. DMS will be OSI
compliant, using the X.400 and X.500 protocols for electronic mail
and directory services.
Among other things, DISA will be releasing much of the source
code to industry, since it will have features not present in many
commercial netwrorking systems, especially for security.
Does anyone know what language will be specified for DMS (which
will be a large system), given that most industry technology is
all done in C/C++ (which affects both contractors for DMS, and
industry users of DMS supplied source code)?
