There is an automated, online repository (a concept that nauseates the people
at ASSET, DSRO, and VCOE) called NETLIB that has a wide variety of numerical
analysis sources codes available by sending messages to the NETLIB server.
One of the programs is a Fortran-to-C converter, f2c. It produces C code
that will produce the same exact output as your Fortran program, but much
like the earlier Meridian Ada-to-C converters, the C code is not very pretty.

Contact you local system administrator to find out how to query NETLIB,
a service like many on the Internet that daily illustrate the incompetence
of the DoD software reuse centers.
