Do someone know, if the is still a version of gnat, which works with
Linux gcc 2.5.8 ? As I understand, the current version work with gcc 2.6.3,
but I enjoy to keep my running gcc 2.5.8, i really need ...
What is the best version of gnat to work with Linux gcc 2.5.8 ?
Do you think, there is a chance, to get this version ?

thanks
so long

GNAT requires a patched version of 2.6.3, you are completely on your
own trying to run with such an outdated version of gcc, there will
certainly be a lot of problems and bugs.

GCC is setup to accomodate multiple versions installed at the same time,
that's the best thing to do.

Go into the directory

% cd /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/

and make a symbolic link

% ln -s 2.5.8 2.6.3

and everything should work.
