I've put on my web site a short explanation meant to help and encourage
people to use the Ada.Strings.* packages.
You are welcome to check it out, and I'll be happy to know what you think.

The actual URL in question is
http://www2.cybercities.com/e/ehud/ada/strings.html . I doubt Ehud wants us
commenting on his *entire* website, which is what is liable to happen if we
all have to go hunting for the proper page. :-)
I have sent a more detailed set of comments via email, but the debatable or
relavent ones I post here.
o "A Few Userful Operations", Item 2: It may be worth mentioning that the
'&' operator can also catenate single characters to a string. However, that
may also distract from the point you are making.
o General comment: A lot can be done with Ada strings without ever
resorting to the Strings packages at all. The ability to define a string of
the proper length at runtime using a declaration and function returns is a
powerful tool that many novices miss.

You are all welcome to browse the entire site, of course.

Indeed. I'll try to work this into the page.
