Dear INFO-ADA Subscriber:

   The INFO-ADA list has been moved to a new home here at the
North Dakota Higher Education Computer Network.  The old system is
being removed from service.

   Your subscription has been moved so you should have to do nothing
except note the new address for posting messages.  If you are responsible
for any redistribution list or news server which included distribution to
      INFO-ADA@VM1.NODAK.EDU (or INFO-ADA@NDSUVM1)
you should also make any adjustments which are necessary.  Any local
filters or aliases (nicknames) may also need updated.

   The list SERVER address to use for list COMMANDS is
      LISTSERV@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU

   The posting Address for messages to the ENTIRE LIST is
      INFO-ADA@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU

   For example, if you wish to leave the INFO-ADA list you would
now send E-mail to  LISTSERV@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU  with the following
command in the BODY of the E-mail:

   SIGNOFF INFO-ADA

   The new server is running under Windows NT Server on a Pentium PC
server running L-Soft's LISTSERV software (basically the same software
we were using on VM).  While most of the old commands will still work
(set, query, index, get) the new software does NOT have the database
facility that we had on VM.  In addition, the local "/SHIP" command
has been replaced by the "GETPOST" command.

   For information on the new server you can send the command HELP to
LISTSERV@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU .

   If this list had more than one name then the new list will generally
only use the "longer" name (INFO-ADA) unless special
arrangements were made.  You should use this name in all your
commands.  However, there may still be files with the older name.
Check the output of an INDEX INFO-ADA command for actual names of any
files.

owner by sending mail to the address
   INFO-ADA-REQUEST@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU .
