Does any body know a free package for process communication which runs
on Windows NT and Linux (or some Unix derivat) ?

IPC is such a broad concept that it is impossible to guess what you
want to do. Being more specific might yield more responses.

In the meantime, AdaSockets is available for both Linux and NT,
as is GLADE for GNAT.
